Summer’s almost at our door step. As the temperatures rise outside, it is trendy to dress cool, and cool to be trendy in vibrant colors and prints.

The focus is on simple and comfortable. Sleeveless and strappy tops are in. Salwar suits are designed to be airy and loose. Light colored, light weight fabrics are in; cottons, chiffons, nets and georgettes are the fabrics of the season. 



Floral prints are in big time. A new trend is to encompass a rainbow of colors on the fabric in beautiful shades of turquoise, emerald, lavender and fuchsia. The color pink also dominates this season. White is timeless and versatile, and goes well with natural shades as well as pastels and bright shades.

Soft, white suits with flares look cool and elegant. Pair with tight churidar and shaded chiffon dupatta. The kurta may be embellished with embroidery or trim piping and interesting necklines.

Floral short shirt with plain patiala salwar and shaded chiffon dupatta looks great on a hot summer day. Finish the suit with some cool lace.

Makeup and accessories: Very natural, light make up with open hair. Put on some pulse jewelry, wear matching jute colored, wedge heeled sandals and carry a colorful handbag in the same colors as the outfit.
