The fashion world has taken notice of India’s rich heritage of bright colors beautifully blended with exotic hand crafted techniques of embroidery and weaving, all unique and impactful.
But then, black, which is glossy, sexy, beautiful and the color of the cold winter night has also been used in a strong interplay of techniques by Indian designers, which in turn has attracted some of the biggest fashion names in the world.
Fashion designers have often presented a contemporary look using the Indian art and craft, not to forget Indian makeup and jewelry, that are on the favorite list of the international design fraternity.
Here we examine a few possibilities in black.
Black Velvet Skirt- Black velvet flare skirt with hot pink trim and dull gold motifs with net scarves. This dress looks elegant at any winter evening event. Pair with a black top and a black and gold scarf. Looks stunning with copper eye shadow and heavy liner.
