Atlanta, GA: “Hindi Urdu Sanjhhe Bol” was heard once again in the halls of Agnes Scott University. Ever since 2007, this unique platform of the Hindi Urdu languages has created an opportunity for many local male and female poets. The event was organized by Manju Tiwari and Sandhya Bhagat.
To start the program off, videos and pictures of past events were shown. Shyam Tiwari and Aqsa Farooqui explained the different styles of Hindi and Urdu literature. Soon after, Sandhya Bhagat and Manju Tiwari came on stage and introduced all of the participants for the evening.
Capturing the audience’s full attention, Brijrani Verma, Shiva Upadhyay, Vijay Nikor, Waqas Khwaja, Anton Wilson, Tahir Syaal, Vimal Nikor, Ashok Goyal, Umay Khwaja, Maqbul Qureshi, Aslam Parvez, Sandhya Bhagat  Manju Tiwari and Alnasir Pangwani etc., shared their talents of the vast Hindi and Urdu poetry world. The entire atmosphere was consumed with literary knowledge.
Having Anton Wilson, Mercidies, Sophia Smith and Suzanne Sen at the program, helped bring diversity to the event.

Kartikay Bhagat organized and presented the slide show that was seen at the beginning of the show.
“Hindi Urdu Sanjhe Bol” has kept its tradition to provide dinner after the event this time also. Along with the main organizers, the audience and participants helped in making the delicious dinner, that was provided to everyone at the end of the show.
Photography of the program was done by Mr. Anil Bhagat. From inception, Mr. Kush Kumar has been an active supporter and has made this program a possibility by his generous donations. Mr. Alnasir Pangwani has also contributed.
Mr. Vijay Tandon greeted everyone at the reception desk as they entered for the program hall. The flyers and posters were made by Mr. Gandharv Bhagat. And in the closing remarks of the program, Dr. Waqas Khwaja, Professor of the English department at Agnes Scott College was thanked for his direct help in booking the Rebekah Scott Hall, where the program took place. Though this location for the program was new, the auditorium was well equipped and overall perfect for it.
As always, with the promise of bringing something new every year, Manju Tiwari and Sandhya Bhagat bid you a farewell, until next year.
