Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2014 to be held in New Delhi

Atlanta, GA: The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2014 will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi from January 7-9, 2014, the Consul General of India in Atlanta, Hon. Ajit Kumar announced recently.

“As you are aware, at the PBD 2013, Subash Razdan, President of Gandhi Foundation, USA was honored with the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award,” he said through a press release issued to NRI Pulse.

The PBD-2014 will be organized by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA). The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports is the partner of the PBD-2014.

The PBD-2014 was launched on November 5. Special sessions will be held on 07 January, 2014 on youth, apart from various sessions on India’s growth & Development, India’s soft Power etc., on other days. Enthusiastic participation is expected from our heterogeneous and diverse overseas Indian origin community spread across the globe. The effort is to have a more meaningful and interactive event that would address issues and concerns of the overseas Indian community effectively. The preparations for a successful PBD 2014 are in full swing.
