Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2015 to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Atlanta, GA: It has been decided that the next Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD), the flagship convention of the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) will be held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat in January 2015, according to a press released by the Consulate General of India in Atlanta.

 An enthusiastic participation from heterogeneous, strategic and diverse overseas Indian community spread across the world is expected.  The effort would be to have meaningful and interactive sessions that would address the issues and concerns of the Indian community effectively. Since 2015 marks the hundredth anniversary of the return of the greatest ‘Pravasi’ of all, Mahatma Gandhi, from South Africa, it is desired that PBD 2015 would be celebrated in a grand way.

 The detailed program shall be announced as soon as it is finalized, said the release.
