Sushma Swaraj to address Indian diaspora in the US

New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS) Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will brief Indian diaspora in the US about opportunities for it in India in business, investments and partnerships, an official said here on Thursday.

She will address the overseas Indian community during the ninth edition of Regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (RPBD) to be held at Los Angeles and California on November 14-15, the official said in a statement.

“The RPBD will provide an opportunity for the overseas Indian community to interact with the Indian delegation and convey their suggestions on all these issues,” the statement said, adding that the diaspora would also be informed about the recent reforms in FDI.

The RPBD is an annual event organised by the ministry as part of its outreach to the Indian diaspora.
