Lahore Grill in Marietta is fast gaining popularity as a restaurant that serves Indo-Pak cuisine cooked the traditional way. Run by three brothers, Azmat, Asad Ali, and Zulfiqar, the restaurant prides itself in offering popular Indian and Pakistani dishes that are cooked to retain individual flavor.

Lahore Grill is also one of the few South Asian restaurants to offer sugar-free dessert options on its menu.

Housed in a former Mexican restaurant that has now been refurbished with Indian and Pakistani art, Lahore Grill offers a fine dining experience at fast food prices. The atmosphere is family friendly, and the service genuinely warm and hospitable. The food is fresh, and very authentic in taste.

The vegetarian section of the menu includes popular items like palak paneer, bhindi masala, dal fry and Bombay aloo- most of them in the $5.99 price range.

The non-vegetarian dishes on the menu include chicken makhani, chicken katakat, chicken tikka masala, Lahori mutton karahi, mutton korma, Lahori Palak ghost and a host of other all time favorites- in the $5.99 to $6.99 price range.

For those who yearn for something tantalizing, there are appetizers like the samosa chaat, aloo tikki, vegetable pakora, dahi bhalley, gol gappey, shrimp pakora etc. to choose from.

The tandoor range has tender, flavorful chicken tikka botis, chicken kababs, lamb lababs and botis and seekh kababs.

Lahore Grill also offers specialty foods like nihari, harissa, Lahori charga roast, tandoori batairey, tava fish fry and paya that have become the popular with patrons.

Rice and roti items are plentiful. Apart from the popular vegetable, chicken and mutton biriyani options, the restaurant also offers variations of the ubiquitous naan like the garlic naan and keema naan, and paratha options like aloo paratha and keema paratha. The tandoori roti and onion kulcha are popular choices.

For patrons with a sweet tooth, there’s delicious Lahori falooda, kheer, gajraila, kulfis and rasmalai to choose from.

Apart from the lunch buffet ($8.99) that has become a mandatory feature at all Indo-Pak restaurants, Lahore Grill also offers a grand lunch and dinner buffet. Priced at $11.99 per person, the grand buffet features over 25 popular and specialty dishes from the menu. If the full house on a Saturday evening was any indication, the dinner buffet is a super hit with patrons.

The three brothers, who have been in the restaurant business for a long time, have made a name for themselves in the Marietta area. “We have lived in this area for over 16 years now. The community knows us,” says Asad Ali.

Eldest brother Azmat is a top chef with over 28 years of restaurant experience. He manages the kitchen and rustles up the delectable dishes on the menu.

Lahore Grill has facility for parties at its premises. The restaurant also takes catering orders.
